  • How will COVID-19 affect us?

    Edit: 19th July 2021

We continue to operate business as usual

The government have today lifted All mandatory Covid restrictions. We however will be maintaining our Covid procedures until more is known about the consequences of this. We will continue wearing masks and socially distancing and politely requesting that our customers follow the previous government guidance - maintaining safe distances, airating rooms prior to our arrival, wearing masks etc.. to reduce the risk of infection and the subsequent isolation of workers picked up by the Track and Trace app.

We are experiencing some delays which occur sporadically with supply lines, delivery/ courier services as a result of covid and increased demand but will keep customers updated throughout

    Edit: 5th January 2021

We continue to operate business as usual

A third lockdown was announced 4th January at 8pm.

As with the second lockdown, Cascata is following gov.uk guidelines, at the moment we are advised that we can continue to operate and continue the necessary Covid Procedures.

Again the whole of England and Scotland are in lockdown so there will be knock-on affects in production of products and the supply chains. We were already experiencing these issues with tiered restrictions across the UK but this will again be now more likely. We are increasing stocks and ordering further in advance to increase delivery schedules.

Those who are in high risk groups and those isolating and shielding will have active projects postponed. Contact us for further info.

We continue to operate business as usual

A second lockdown was announced on Saturday 31st October.

Following Gov.uk guidelines we will continue to operate as before with the necessary Covid Safety Procedures still in place.

    Edit: 27th May 2020

    We are now re-opening!!

Since the lockdown restrictions were eased on the evening of Sunday 10th May we have closely monitored how its affects were being played out. As COVID infection numbers are being maintained we are cautiously Re-opening today as planned.

    For Your Safety & Ours

We have introduced new Covid Safety Procedures and Risk Assessments which will be applied to all future projects. New PPE & Cleaning/ disinfecting procedures are introduced along with new ways we will operate to minimise the affects that Covid has to our supply chain. We are doing all we can amid many new variables to mitigate against delays and stoppages.

    Existing & New Customers

Our existing customers have been contacted. In-line with government guidelines All on-going projects are to resume at the descretion of the customer and will continue when you are comfortable enough to do so. Those who are isolating or shielding will be postponed until guidelines changes, unless you are willing to continue - contact us to discuss.

Our new customers will receive a Covid Safety Procedure for measuring up before any new appointment and will be prioritised according to their personal circumstances [ie Are you Shielding?]

We look forward to our return today and are eager to get back to full function. Thank you to all our customers for the continued support and understanding.

    Edit: 11th May 2020

    Introducing new COVID-19 Procedures

We are now in the process of creating new Risk Assessments, COVID Working Procedures and gathering the relevent P.P.E and additional cleaning equipment in order to safely work in occupied properties.

Following yesterdays announcement by the PM we do not intend on returning to work as usual this week or next week and our previous update remains in place. If however, the announced relaxations prove to have a minimal rise in new infections and minimal increased death rates we will of course look to follow a trend to re-open. A specific update will be posted on that.

At the point we do return to work we will respect our customers wishes as to when we proceed with their project. Those customers who are ‘shielding’ or continuing to ‘self-isolate’ or over 60years old will have the project postponed and other booked projects will be brought forward where possible.
